I currently use an older version of klipper (from kde platform 4.8.4) and once, some time ago, I tried working with it, but I really didn’t grok it enough to get anywhere. It would be even nicer if it could figure out which part of what I copied was what (URL, title, snippet), but I can live with learning to copy in a disciplined sequence, e.g., URL first, title second, 1st snippet third., and so on (or reverse order, probably easier).ĭo any of these clipboard managers help with that? It comes with editing and scripting features as a bonus to the basic clipboard manager’s history and management. It would be nice to find a clipboard manager that would make that more convenient for me, automatically adding the various pieces of extra text.
